    I’m afraid I cannot complete my Income Tax return for Basis 2019 due to the fact that Social Services have not forwarded to me the total Pension payments allocated to my name for Self Assessment purposes.

      This year (Basis 2019) the Inland Revenue Department has printed the local Social Security Pension on the Tax Return Form. If you did not receive your tax return it could be you are considered a non-filer.

    As confirmed by servizz.gov.mt, FS5 cheque payments are to be made payable to “Commissioner Inland Revenue”. Maltapost couldn’t be reached for a confirmation.

      Tax and Social Security Payments sent by post to Maltapost p.l.c. P.O. Box 2296, Qormi Road, Marsa, MTP 1001, Malta are to be made out to CfR or Commissioner for Revenue.
